"At toxcheck, our mission is to use methods endorsed by the scientific community to test your home, including testing of drinking water, household dusts and garden soils etc, present the results to you in an easy to digest format, and then provide tailored recommendations to help reduce your family's exposure risk and to promote health and longevity"
"Various contaminants (including 'forever chemicals - PFAS'), asbestos and heavy metals have been proven to exist within our homes and gardens. For the first time, Australian's have a tool to help them assess the facts, and ultimately make informed decisions about how they choose to protect the health of their family".
About
TOXCHECK are based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. TOXCHECK was created because we observed that the average Australian family does not have access to contamination assessment services despite it being well documented that our homes can represent a health exposure hazard. Exposure hazards in your home could include:
-
Drinking water contamination, i.e. from corrosion of older water pipes or impurities in mains water, water bore contamination etc
-
Buildup of industrial contaminants within household dusts
-
Asbestos used in the construction of your house
-
Contamination of garden soils from e.g. weathering of lead paints, asbestos etc
-
Moulds
-
Overflowing septic systems
-
Poor air quality because of proximity to roads or industrial sites
Our team have worked with a wide variety of client types, from government agencies, property developers, multi-billion-dollar asset owners, energy corporations, local councils and more, and now we aim to bring the same level of care and professionalism to the people.

Services
Not all homes share the same contamination hazard exposure potential. An individual living in an apartment block with limited access to soils will likely have a different risk profile to a family that includes younger children with access to a garden. To make things easy for you, we have split our services into several recommended packages.
